According to Engadget, rumormill has it that it launch would go down this 1st of June. I guess they were right, since they have found a forum post indicating its validation of the launch. It says:

"I have a U.S. launch date for the Nike+ compatible heart rate monitor. It will officially launch on June 1, 2010, although it may reach some retail outlets slightly sooner. It will reach Canadian markets in June and will launch internationally in summer 2010, exact date to be determined."

2k10 Santa Barbara Half Marathon Winners

Over at Solvang California, Sergio Reyes of of Palmdale got the rid of defending champion Mark Batres with a course record of 1:04:51 in an event that saw 3,000 runners from all over the world witnessing the grand view of Santa Ynez Valley during the SAnta Barbara Wine Country Half Marathon during the weekend.

As Reyes was the fastest American during 2009 Bank of America Chicago Marathon, his win was his third Wine Country Half Marathon, having won the 2009 Healdsburg Wine CountryHalf Marathon and the 2008 Napa-to-Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon.

In the women's race, 2009 Napa-to-Sonoma Wine Country Half Marathon winner Julia Stamps Mallon got the better of of Andrea McLarty by 38 seconds with 1:20:58.

If I was still in my senior year in college, I would definitely hit it. Great Wall Marathon

Damn! Somebody didn't tell me a thing or two about the Great Wall Marathon this 15th! Registration's closed and I can't do anything about it just to feel the steps of the Great Wall of China and immerse in their culture. Tough luck. I guess I have to be early falling in line for next year's race.

Twitter Co-Founder Loves Running Too
